Pushkar is a short drive from our office in Ajmer. We arrange fair visits with a local guide, desert camps and hotel rooms that sell out months ahead, plus Holi in Jaipur and Diwali in Rajasthan’s lit-up cities.

Questions from international guests

Do I need a visa to visit India?

Most nationalities can apply online for an Indian e-Visa on the official government website (indianvisaonline.gov.in) before travelling. Once you book, we send you a full itinerary and hotel details to support your application.

Is it safe to travel in India?

Yes, especially on a private tour. You travel with your own car and an experienced driver, stay in hotels we have checked ourselves, and have a RAAHI trip manager you can reach on WhatsApp throughout the trip. Many of our guests are solo women and families.

When is the best time to visit?

October to March is ideal for Rajasthan, Agra and Varanasi, with warm days and cool nights. April to June is hot in the plains but good for the Himalayas. July to September is the monsoon.

Can you change the itinerary?

Every tour is private and fully customisable. Add or remove days, choose heritage or luxury hotels, add a cooking class or a village visit. Tell us what you would like and we will rework the plan.

In which currency do you quote, and how do I pay?

We can quote in US dollars, euros, British pounds or Indian rupees. We share the payment options with your quote. Nothing is charged until you have approved the final itinerary.

Do you arrange airport pickup?

Yes. Our driver meets you at Delhi or Jaipur airport with a name sign, and drops you back for your flight home.
