Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar
Arrive in Delhi and drive toward Haridwar, one of the most sacred pilgrimage towns in India. After check in, spend some quiet time along the riverbanks. In the evening, you may attend the soulful Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where lamps, chants, and devotion create a powerful spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar - Barkot
After breakfast, begin your drive toward Barkot, passing through the scenic hills of Mussoorie and the forested stretches of the Doon region. Enjoy refreshing mountain views along the way. Reach Barkot by evening and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot
Early morning, drive to Jankichatti, the starting point of the Yamunotri walk. Proceed on foot or by pony or palanquin to Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Take blessings at the shrine and feel the warmth of the natural hot springs at Surya Kund. Return to Barkot by evening. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi
After breakfast, drive toward Uttarkashi, a calm spiritual town located along the Bhagirathi River. Spend time visiting local temples, walking through the quiet bazaars, or simply enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere. Check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Start early and drive to Gangotri, passing through scenic valleys, pine forests, and mountain streams. Visit Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, and offer prayers beside the sacred Bhagirathi River. Spend some quiet moments absorbing the spiritual energy of the surroundings before returning to Uttarkashi by evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Harsil
After breakfast, begin your journey toward the peaceful Harsil Valley. Known for its deodar forests, apple orchards, and riverside charm, Harsil offers a slower pace and refreshing mountain air. Spend time enjoying the serene surroundings before settling in for the night. Overnight stay in Harsil or nearby Chamba.
Day 7: Harsil – Rishikesh
After breakfast, drive toward Rishikesh, a spiritual hub set along the banks of the Ganga. Visit places like Laxman Jhula or enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverfront. Spend your evening soaking in the calm and spiritual vibe of the town. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 8: Rishikesh: Departure
