A Journey Designed for Unforgettable Memories
Day 1: Shimla: Arrival & Sightseeing
Arrive in Delhi or Chandigarh and begin your scenic drive toward Shimla. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, step out to explore Mall Road, walk along The Ridge, and visit the iconic Christ Church. Enjoy the cool mountain air as the journey begins. Overnight stay in Shimla.Arrive in Delhi or Chandigarh and begin your scenic drive toward Shimla. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, step out to explore Mall Road, walk along The Ridge, and visit the iconic Christ Church. Enjoy the cool mountain air as the journey begins. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla - Sangla
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Sangla, entering the scenic region of Kinnaur. The route passes through Kufri, Narkanda, and Rampur, offering views of apple orchards, mountain ridges, and river valleys. Reach Sangla by evening and settle into your stay near the Baspa River. Overnight stay in Sangla.
Day 3: Sangla - Local Excursion
After breakfast, set out for an excursion to Chitkul, known as the last inhabited village near the Indo Tibetan border. Walk through traditional wooden houses, enjoy peaceful moments beside the river, and take in the wide Himalayan views. Return to Sangla in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the calm surroundings of the valley. Overnight stay in Sangla.
Day 4: Sangla - Nako - Giu - Tabo
After breakfast, begin your journey into the high altitude landscapes of Spiti Valley. Stop at Nako, a quiet village built around a serene mountain lake. Continue to Giu, famous for its naturally preserved monk mummy. By evening, arrive in Tabo and visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, known for its historic murals and spiritual importance. Overnight stay in Tabo.
Day 5: Tabo - Dhankar - Kaza
After breakfast, drive towards Dhankar Monastery, dramatically located on a cliff overlooking the river confluence below. Take time to admire the views before continuing onward to Kaza, the administrative centre of Spiti. Check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the quiet town surroundings. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 6: Kaza - Kye, Chicham, Langza, Kibber
After breakfast, head out for a full day of exploration around Kaza. Visit the iconic Key Monastery, perched high above the valley. Continue to Chicham Bridge, one of the highest suspension bridges in the region. Visit Kibber, known for its stone houses and vast high altitude landscape, and end the day at Langza, home to a large Buddha statue and fossil rich slopes. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
Day 7: Kaza - Komic, Hikkim & Local Market
After breakfast, visit Komic, one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Continue to Hikkim to send a postcard from one of the world’s highest post offices. Return to Kaza by afternoon and spend time exploring local markets and cafes. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 8: Kaza - Kalpa
Start early and begin your return journey toward Kinnaur. Pass the dramatic Khab Bridge, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet. By evening, reach Kalpa, known for its apple orchards and stunning mountain setting. Check in and relax. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 9: Kalpa - Shimla
Wake up early to witness sunrise views over the Kinner Kailash Range. After breakfast, drive back toward Shimla via Reckong Peo and Rampur. Arrive by evening and enjoy a relaxed final night in the hills. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 10: Shimla: Departure
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Delhi or Chandigarh. Carry with you unforgettable memories of dramatic landscapes, ancient monasteries, remote villages, and the raw, powerful beauty of Kinnaur and Spiti.
