Day 1: Shimla: Arrival & Sightseeing
Begin your journey from Delhi or Chandigarh and enjoy a scenic mountain drive to Shimla. On arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, explore Mall Road, walk across The Ridge, and admire the beautiful Christ Church glowing under the hill lights. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla - Sangla
After breakfast, check out and begin your drive toward Sangla, the gateway to the scenic Baspa Valley. The route takes you through mountain towns, winding roads, and lush valleys, passing Rampur and the impressive Karcham Dam. Reach Sangla by evening and check in to your hotel or riverside camp. Spend your time relaxing beside the Baspa River. Overnight stay in Sangla.
Day 3: Sangla - Local Excursion
After breakfast, set out for an excursion to Chitkul, known as the last inhabited village near the Indo Tibetan border. Walk through traditional wooden homes, visit the sacred Mata Chitkul Temple, and enjoy stunning views of snow covered mountains. Return to Sangla by afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the village or interacting with friendly Kinnauri locals. Overnight stay in Sangla.
Day 4: Sangla - Kalpa
After breakfast, check out and drive toward Kalpa, one of the most scenic villages in the region. En route, pass through Reckong Peo, the district headquarters of Kinnaur. On arrival in Kalpa, soak in breathtaking views of the Kinner Kailash Range. Visit Suicide Point and explore the traditional Roghi Village. Enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by mountain silence. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 5: Kalpa - Shimla
Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the Kinner Kailash peaks. After breakfast, begin your return drive to Shimla, passing scenic valleys, apple orchards, and remote settlements along the way. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 6: Shimla: Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Delhi or Chandigarh. Take home unforgettable memories of peaceful villages, flowing rivers, apple laden valleys, and the serene beauty of Kinnaur’s hidden Himalayan landscapes.
